Shin-Young Lee is a phenomenal musician. Through her concerts she always seduces the audience by her strong spiritual and musical commitment, and by the originality of her programs which combine both the organ repertoire and transcriptions.

In July 2026, Shin-Young Lee will give a solo concert at the Cathedral of St. Anastasia in Zadar as part of the third international festival "The Organ of St. Anastasia"

Miss Lee has performed in major concert halls on five continents, including Philharmonie de Paris, Auditorium de Radio France, Berlin Philharmonie, Göteborgs Konserthus, Müpa Budapest, Madrid Auditorio Nacional, Dallas Meyerson Symphony Center, Los Angeles Walt Disney Hall, Maison symphonique de Montréal, Seoul Sejong Art Concert Hall, Moscow Zaryadye, and the Gulanyu Organ Museum of China.

Shin-Young Lee is frequently invited as a soloist with orchestra. She took part at the AGO (American Guild of Organists) National Convention in San Francisco in June 2024, where she performed Samuel Barber Toccata Festiva and Emma Lou Diemer Organ Concerto. She has also appeared at many international festivals, including the Lahti Organ Festival, Festival Musica, Bødø Festival, Festival International de Chartres, Festival of Sacred Arts (Reykjavik), Festival Bach de Montréal, the Haarlem Festival, and Festival “Toulouse les orgues”.

In addition to performing, Shin-Young is frequently invited to serve on the juries of international competitions, and to give masterclasses. It is a great joy for her to share her experience and passion for music with future generations. On that matter, she has been guest artist at the Yale University during the Fall of 2024.

Either by commission or through her own initiative, Shin-Young enjoys transcribing music for the organ. She has transcribed music by Bach, Saint-Saëns, Borodin, Ravel, and Prokofiev. One of her recent transcriptions, “Le Carnaval des Animaux” by Camille Saint-Saëns, was released by the legendary publisher Schott, and was the subject of a video (available on YouTube) recorded on the organ at Radio France.

Born to a musical family, Shin-Young Lee began her musical studies in early childhood. After having received a Bachelor of Music degree from Yonsei University, she continued her studies at the Schola Cantorum and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris having obtained the highest achievement with the highest distinctions.
